High speed compression moulding of long glass fibre-reinforced
thermoplastic sheet is a newly developed technique of shaping plastic
components. The process represents considerable cost and design
advantages over conventional moulding processes. However the
technology associated with this type of process still needs much
research and development. [Continues.]
