It is shown that distributed RC networks with properties close
to the ideal can be constructed by using the thick film technology.
The application of the distributed RC network to construct low pass
active filters is described and it is shown that miniature low pass
active filters can be constructed using these networks. The construction
of an eighth order Butterworth distributed low pass active filter,
whose individual stage's magnitude response is adjusted by trimming
the distributed RC network, is described. [Continues.]
