Parallel algorithms for solving integral equations

The contents of this thesis are concerned with a detailed study of the implementation of parallel algorithms for solving integral equations. The study is not one which solves a specific kind of problem of integral equations, but instead we consider the general problem of the design and analysis of the methods that are suitable to be run on a MIMD-type parallel computer.
