Sorption-effect chromatography

The objective of this work has been to develop an understanding of the changes in volumetric flow rate that occur during chromatography so that flow rate measurements can be used as the basis of an analytical method. It is suggested that the total amount of gas which adsorbs on a column equals the total amount of gas which elutes from the end of the column. [Continues.]
