The influence of training on submaximal endurance in man

The purpose of this study was to develop a thirty-minute endurance test on the cycle ergometer (T30min) which could be used to determine an individual's ability to sustain a high proportion of their maximum oxygen uptake (VO2max) and to identify the physiological characteristics associated with this ability.
