Problems have been encountered in the manufacture of shoe components
from compounds based on Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) block copolymers.

poor mar resistance; weld lines on appropriate mouldings; reduction
in stiffness on mechanical working; and variable hardness with
different processing conditions. [Continues.]
