Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP) is a vital bridge between
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). The
planning domain involves vast amounts of knowledge, experience and data. The
structuring and representing of such information, which includes part information
and machining processes information, are some of the key issues that have to be
addressed during development of a system for process planning. [Continues.]
