Pulsed power technology is an area of continuing interest for physicists and engineers in the domain requiring high voltage and current. Modern pulsed power originates from historical roots in pulsed radar technology during World War II and the X-ray generation for nuclear weapons diagnosis and simulations [1]. However, new pulsed power applications are continuing to emerge even today. This Thesis will demonstrate novel research in the pulsed power domain, explicitly focusing on pulsed pressure sources from underwater plasma discharge or exploding wires. [...]
