I am a Doctoral Researcher at Loughborough University, focussing on Building Energy Research within the ERBE CDT. My thesis, "Exploring the Thermal Demand Response Potential of UK Dwellings Using Rule-based Control of Electrified Heating Systems," aims to enhance demand-side energy flexibility to enable renewables and save consumers money. My primary research focuses on building physics, building simulation, energy flexibility and sustainable buildings and places.
I am actively involved in IEA Work Annex 82 on Energy Flexible Buildings and engage in discourse regarding research culture by organising workshops and symposia during my time as lead rep for the School of Architecture, Building, and Civil Engineering.
