Jordan is currently conducting cutting-edge independent research under the EPSRC in the Intelligent Automation Centre in systems solutions to solve deep machine learning, AI, and robotics problems. Specifically, mental health involvement in autonomous weapons detection and the care sector.
His research is also aligned with the £1.9m DigiTOP project (https://digitop.ac.uk) which is developing a predictive toolkit to optimise productivity and communication between human workers and robots.
Jordan is the recipient of the 2019 Ede & Ravenscroft postgraduate research prize.
