This is a software collection for a low cost telemetry system to collect and transmit sound pressure measurements from microphones from the side of a test track following the ISO-362 pass-by-noise test to a moving vehicle.
The software runs on the hardware with design schematics utilising Arduino Uno boards, ADC and DAC, XBee transceivers and laser light gates.
Associated with Vehicle Test group in the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering, teaching practical skills in module Noise Control, module code TTC040 taught by Dan O'Boy.
Components designed by Simon Tuplin. Coding by Dan O'Boy
Practical tests take place at Horiba MIRA proving ground.
