In order to distinguish essays and pre-prints from academic theses, we have a separate category. These are often much longer text based documents than a paper.
The thesis describes the general concepts of interfacing the geometrical description of a car body and the internal structure with the corresponding finite element model. The work was carried out on collaboration with the Austin Rover Group (ARG), Cowley, and a three month period was spent with the company to gain understanding of the underlying problem. [Continues.]
